North American Stainless donated $10,000 to help fill the food pantries operated at Carroll County Schools. Each school has quick service food and snacks for students who are in need. Thank you to our partner North American Stainless for this impactful donation.

Eighth graders recently toured the Carroll County High School in preparation for their transition to high school next school year. They were taken on tours by student leaders, learned about schedules and observed students working on the heavy equipment simulator.

Thank you to everyone who has attended the Town Hall meetings to discuss the district's vision for the future. We will host two more Town Halls on Feb. 6 and 7, both beginning at 6 p.m. They will be in the ag workshop at Carroll County High School. Everyone is welcome!

The Carroll County Schools maintenance department was recognized by the board of education for their efforts during the recent snow storm. The five-man team worked very hard to clear parking lots and sidewalks while dealing with equipment problems and extreme weather. Thank you!


Carroll County Schools Superintendent Casey Jaynes thanked the board of education for its service and dedication to our students during their monthly meeting last night. January is School Board Appreciation Month.

Carroll County Schools is hosting two Town Halls next week to discuss our future goals and plans. Everyone is welcome to attend and learn about this vision. We will meet at 6 p.m. in the ag workshop at CCHS.



CCMS recognized these fifth graders for completing their iReady (math) and/or Lexia (reading) programs recently. Congratulations on this accomplishment!

The certified medical assistant and pre-nursing programs at the Carroll County Area Technology Center provided a number of hands-on experiences for eighth graders who visited this week.

The eighth grade class from Carroll County Middle School visited the Carroll County Area Technology Center. Students participated in hands-on activities and learned about courses offered at the ATC. These photos include carpentry, electrical, welding, automotive and business.



Several Carroll County Middle School students visited the Speed Art Museum recently. The school obtained an arts grant that has allowed students to see the ballet, visit museums and enjoy productions at their school. (Photos courtesy of Elizabeth Gonterman.)

Indoor track will start next week for student athletes in grades 7-12. An updated sports physical is required before students can practice. The team will practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-5:30 p.m. on the indoor track at CCMS.

The Carroll County Board of Education has released its 2025 meeting schedule. All meetings are open to the public.


Jeff Bates, the newest member of the Carroll County Board of Education, visited Carroll County Middle School and Kathryn Winn Primary today. January is School Board Recognition Month. Thank you Mr. Bates for visiting with our students today!
