Carson Lipe and Lilly Frye recently took their academic achievements to the next level, competing in the final round for a prestigious full scholarship to Bellarmine University.
They were selected from 330 students from across the state and country. They will enter Bellarmine University as juniors, after completing an associate’s degree during their high school career. This earns them a spot in the Bellarmine University Honors Program. They will find out at the end of February or first week of March if they were awarded one of 10 full scholarships.
Carson and Lilly had to compete by doing two on-demand writings, mock classroom discussions and interviews with Bellarmine deans and faculty.
Congratulations to Carson and Lily for representing Carroll County! (Photo courtesy of Katrina Lipe.)

This is the agenda for Thursday's Carroll County Board of Education working meeting. Some have asked if the proposed tax increase will be discussed. It is not on the agenda and will not be discussed. By law, special meetings have discussion limited only to the items on the agenda. This is considered a special meeting because the date was changed, not because of the content. All board of education meetings are open to the public.

We are always on the lookout for bus drivers! Go to join.ccpanthers.com to join our team!
